Green Smoothie Bowl

I find this is the best way to get more raw spinach into my kiddies! These bowls are jam packed with fresh greens but all you can taste is a beautiful mango smoothie! Spinach is one of the only greens I combine with fruit. Because of the high water content in spinach, it becomes easily digestible when blended - just like fruit!


 Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen bananas
  • 2 cups frozen mangoes
  • 1 - 2 packed cups of fresh spinach leaves
  • 2 cups of water or coconut water
  • 1 tbs pure maple or sweetener of choice

Method

Blend all ingredients in a high powered blender until smooth. Spoon into bowls, top with fresh fruit and serve.
